While we were in Cancun, Jamin's dad had open heart surgery. We called after his surgery, and everyone was amazed at how well he was doing. He was released a few days earlier than expected.
Over the weekend, Roger took a turn for the worse and was rushed to the E.R. He had some pretty severe complications from the surgery, and everyone was very worried. After he was in the hospital for two days, Jamin's family told us that we probably needed to come to Indiana as soon as we could get tickets. His doctors had no idea what was wrong, but they suspected a stroke. Then, Jamin's brothers gave him a blessing and he immediately started to turn around! All of his symptoms were gone and he was once again back to normal. They kept him in the hospital for a few days, but they decided he was fine. It was so amazing to hear the good news after we had been so worried.
I am so grateful that he is doing better and that Jamin's brothers were worthy to give him the healing blessing. We definitely had our testimonies strengthened over this Easter weekend. We are grateful for all of the great things we have in our life, and this little scare has helped us to be more appreciative of our families. I hope all of you also had a great Easter!

Taneil, that is so scary! I'm grateful that he is okay and that you guys were able to see the priesthood in action. What a blessing. We will be sure to keep him in our prayers.
I am so sorry. I feel bad you should have let me know and i would not have bothered you with Bubba. I am glad that everything is going ok. The Priesthood is such a wonderful blessing.
I was wondering did Bubba whine last time i left? If he didn't that is wonderful. We re so happy you guy's took him. I know he is in good hands and that he is sooo happy.
It was fun to talk with you. We should do dinner sometime.
Hey Taneil! It was so good to hear from you. Looks like you guys have a super busy life right now...that's a good thing though, right? :) I added a link to you guys on my blog so I can keep in touch. Good to hear from you!
That's great, I am so glad everything worked out ok. It's hard when something like that happens and you are so far away.
P.S. Here is a map of that store Tai Pan I told you about:
