Little boy in class: "Mrs. Hunter, I know for sure that I can't go to work with my mom because she works at Suzie's Adult Bookstore, and they sell lots of toys, magazines, and movies that are X-rated! I can't wait until I am 18, then I can go!!"

Dang, I wish my mom had a cool job like that. You should have a career day and have parents come in to explain what they do for a living. You could have SHARE on the same day- kill two birds with one stone.

How did you keep a straight face? My kids think working at the funeral home is interesting, I guess it is all comparative huh? Maybe you could do a class field trip for careers/reading! Only in Nevada!!

I had to totally hide my smile! It didn't help when another kid pipes up with, "Hey, my Dad goes there all the time." So funny.
Oh my that is so funny! Kids tell all, I'm sure you hear all kinds of funny stories.
oh my gosh, I laughed so hard when I read this. That is reeeallly sad! So why am I laughing, I don't know, maybe I should cry for the poor boy, but that's funny. Bless you, it can be such an adventure teaching school!
